The Heartland Chapter of SOHN is a membership of nurses from all walks of life who dedicate themselves to the care and education of patients with cancer of the head and neck, and other related ear, nose and throat problems. The care given is reflected in the time and efforts spent by these nurses in their own education and the education of the nurses with whom they work, as well as the education of prevention and cancer awareness of patients.
Our current membership is 38. We are active in the research aspect to assure that what we tell our patients is accurate. Our chapter offers scholarships for annual national congress meetings and an annual Spring Pediatric meeting, to our members who apply for said scholarships. We promote good health practices for all patients.
A member list is available from the National Headquarters, by special permission.
